'Rubies and Diamonds' is the first official single from the album WWNBL (When We're Not Being Lazy) by Kbrizzy and Phanas.
Released on the 18th of March 2022, it is a collaboration from the trio, Kbrizzy, Phanasand JoyRukanza.
Rubies and Diamonds it's basically a summary of where the artists want to be—a luxurious lifestyle symbolized by precious stones.

KBrizzy speaks on 'Rubies and Diamonds'
- What drew you to make the single in the first place? I’ve always loved JoyRukanza’s music, and we’ve been intending to collaborate for a bit, and her vocal range & overall style was a perfect fit for what me & Phanas were looking for.
- Is the single a part of the expected album, dropping on the 29th of April? It’s the first official single from the Album WWNBL (When We’re Not Being Lazy) by myself, and Phanas.
- What does the title "Rubies And Diamonds" reveal, if anything, about the single’s impact and themes? It's basically a summation of where we want to be with our lives. A luxurious lifestyle symbolized by precious stones.
- How did you come up with the collaboration with Phanas and Joy? Mind sharing your studio experience with the artists? The best thing about collaboration between artists that already have a solid personal relationship is that a lot of the creative chemistry comes easy. I cannot pinpoint how we all merged on that same theme & idea, but it was organic & the song came out.
- How many tracks does the expected album have? Sixteen so far, but you know artists… it could easily be 24 or 11 by release day haha.
- How many featured artists and producers? Quite the number actually, Phanas did about 70% of the production, but we also had amazing production from Dopebwoi, Murphy Cubic & Pek. As for artists, the list is long & some are still pending, so let's put a pin on that…
- What's your understanding on the artist-producer relationship? For me, this has to be the most crucial relationship in this entire racket. A producer’s ability to see the vision as vividly as I do is the utmost key to the end product’s success, and that's why it was a no-brainer for me to work on this album with Phanas.
- Has any producer screwed you in terms of beat licensing? If yes, How did you handle the matter? I cannot recall it happening, and if it did, it probably wasn’t that hectic since I cannot recall.
- Phanas or Lyrnx Voice box? One has to go, (state your reasons)? Both are amazingly talented producers, but Larry will have to take this, L. Phanas has what the kids call “that thing” haha.
- Michelle Banda or JoyRukanza? One has to go, (state your reasons)! Ah! Do you want me to die of incompetency at amateur hour? Listen, I am a brilliant artist. I am blisteringly talented, but outside that, getting me to perform any tasks timeously & professionally is a big joke. I “look the part” because those two bothered to care about my nonsense hahahaha…
- Rockie DoUb or Vic Jita? One has to go (state your reasons)! Vic Jita because he doesn't want to visit me even though I have drunk text him sometimes & tell him I miss him hahaha. Also, Rockie Doub is actually my best friend so no-brainer…
- Who has the best hits, between yourself and Asaph? Asaph got the “BIGGER” hits. As for “better”, let's talk after 29th April before I get called a liar…

- Which music producer do you think is overrated In Bulawayo? Why? Most of them are underrated if we are spitting facts. I don't know a single producer who gets enough roses to even be considered as overated.
- Which rapper do you hate the most in Bulawayo? Why? I don’t feel that strongly about anyone in that field. Do I feel sad for some? Yes…
- What's your view on the Killemol Diss track? And are we expecting any reply soon? Y/N (Support your answers) Good idea, semi-decent execution. A reply from me? Absolutely not. I’m a principled man. I fight in my weight division.
